NABH does not mandate a specific wall finish material, but it does require OT and CSSD surfaces to be smooth, non-porous, seamless, and easy to clean and disinfect. Plastered and painted walls can fail NABH inspection if surface integrity is compromised.
Panel installation is significantly faster than traditional plastered wall construction. A single OT room can be fully panelled in 5–10 days. A full OT complex or CSSD fit-out typically takes 3–5 weeks for panel installation, depending on scope.
