What Is a Modular OT?

What Is a Modular Operation Theatre?

A modular operation theatre is a prefabricated, factory-engineered OT suite assembled on-site using purpose-built wall panels, ceiling systems, flooring, and integrated services — replacing traditional brick-and-mortar construction.
Unlike conventional OT builds that take 4–6 months and involve multiple contractors, a modular OT can be fully installed and commissioned in 6–10 weeks with a single vendor managing the entire scope. Every element — from the laminar airflow ceiling to the flush-jointed wall panels — is engineered from the ground up for infection control, easy cleaning, and long-term durability.
At Kapisa Healthcare, every modular OT we deliver is built and documented to NABH accreditation requirements, so your hospital is ready for inspection from day one.
